A big congratulations to two of our own ladies from the West Seattle club!
Rachel Strauss (Winner) and Rebecca Mallo (Runner up)! We are so proud of both of you.
The Greater Seattle Women’s Golf Association held the City Championship at West Seattle Golf Club last season. The event was sponsored by the West Seattle Women’s Golf Club and the event was a huge success.
The winner of the tournament was Rachel Strauss and the runner up was Rebecca Mallo. Both women belong to the West Seattle Women’s Golf Club. Rachel was defending champion and has won this tournament many times. The first time was fourteen years ago when the event was last played at West Seattle Golf Club.
Other highligsts from our club is Sue Otani and Kathy McAfee placed 1st in their flights!
All the participants had a great time.

The West Seattle Club Championship will be held on August 14th and August 21st. Sign up in the locker room! Lunch will be held after the second day outside on the patio! More information will be forthcoming.

The West Seattle Pro Shop has a great staff that works under very stressful conditions especially in the height of the summer months and a vast variety of customers. Tip your hat to these individuals for doing such a great job representing our Golf Course:

We have many creative, capable and professional women in the WSWGC. Many of us make our living or supplement our living by promoting our skills to the public.
We now have in the locker room a Member-to-Member Board. Please put up your business cards, flyers and advertisements for all of us to see. What a better place to find an artist, photographer, sub-contractor, computer-tutor, house sitter, pet sitter or bookkeeper that we not only could hire but would also know!
